As the Christmas season approaches, we are excited to announce the start of our annual Eastern Bays Catholic Christmas Hamper Drive. Our goal for 2024 is to gather 300+ hampers that will be distributed to families in need through Te Waipuna/Sisters of Mercy, Glenbrae Primary School, and other local organizations that support our community.

This year, you can make a direct impact by purchasing either a full hamper ($100) or a half hamper ($50). Each hamper will be filled with essential items to help families enjoy a brighter Christmas season. As a donor, you will receive a tax receipt for your generous contribution, and you have the flexibility to donate any amount you wish.

We are using the same easy-to-navigate process as we did for our successful Great Quiz Night event. Weekly updates will be posted to track our progress, so you can see the difference your donations are making.

Volunteering at Everybody Eats Tatou in Glen Innes

A huge thank you to our inaugural Year 12 students—Villi, Antonio, Sam, Ethan, Ruby, Charlotte, and Tessa—for leading the way in our trial volunteering at Everybody Eats Tatou in Glen Innes. We were also fortunate to have the support of Dan and Esme Hughes. As you can see from the attached photos, they did an excellent job in their roles, whether working behind the scenes (plating, dishes) or at the front of the house (taking orders, clearing plates, setting tables).
