St Ignatius Parish (part of Eastern Bays Catholic) is holding a working bee to tidy up the Parish Centre and give it some much needed love ahead of some more significant work that we will be undertaking in the coming months.
Event Details
Date: 17th November
Time: 3pm start – finish time 5pm (approx)
Location: St Ignatius Parish Centre
What We’ll Be Doing
We’re aiming to have 10-12 volunteers working in groups of 3-4 to make the tasks manageable and enjoyable. Our efforts will include:
- Wiping down the walls in the front foyer, preparing for painting work that will be done later.
- Moving storage cabinets and tidy out the main storage room and cabinets
- Doing an inventory of all the crockery. (from the cabinets and in the kitchen)
- Tidying up the gardens around the parish.
What to Bring
Please bring your enthusiasm and some elbow grease! Cleaning supplies will be provided, but if you’re planning to work in the garden, please bring your own gardening tools.
BBQ Lunch & Refreshments
To say thanks, we’ll have a small BBQ lunch and drinks ready for everyone who helps out. It’s a great chance to connect as a community after a job well done!
Thank you for your support in keeping our parish beautiful. We look forward to a productive and enjoyable morning together!
